The Knot Worldwide is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Strategy & Operations Lead to bridge the gap between data, insights, strategic planning, and execution. Reporting directly to the Vice President of International Marketing, this role acts as the Chief of Staff for international markets and brands, collaborating closely with stakeholders across Brand Marketing, Media & Measurement, Email / CRM, Product, Editorial, and Sales.

Our international presence spans 13 countries and 13 brands in 5 languages. The Strategy & Operations Lead will ensure our teams have reliable data sources, translate data into strategic guidance, and develop internal processes and systems for effective operation.

This role offers significant growth opportunities and provides insight into how company strategies are adapted locally and executed to create impact. It offers visibility into all facets of the Marketing organization and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Own our data, measurement, and reporting systems to support decision-making and marketing strategies. Collaborate with leadership to define KPIs, design measurement frameworks, and turn data into insights that improve brand awareness, customer acquisition, and lifetime value. Oversee data collection, analysis, and presentation, crafting narratives that align teams and inspire action.
  2. Require strong knowledge of Google Sheets, a growth mindset for internal data tools, and the ability to identify trends and correlations among metrics.
  3. Coordinate with data science, creative, and channel marketing teams to ensure campaigns are underpinned by accurate analytics and post-campaign analysis. Bring clarity to complex data and help scale impact with precision.
  4. Lead operational efficiency initiatives, including managing leadership meetings, all-hands sessions, and supporting the annual Marketing Summit.
  5. Act as the central connector among teams—Consumer, Vendor, Creative, CRM, Insights, and Media—aligning workflows and streamlining processes. Identify operational improvements, implement change management, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  6. Support and guide the existing Strategy & Operations Associates in refining processes and scope.

Ideal Candidates Have:

  • 5+ years in brand strategy or planning roles
  • Strong synthesis skills for insights development
  • Excellent communication tailored to diverse audiences
  • Experience in strategic marketing at enterprise and product levels
  • Background in media strategy and marketing analytics
  • Organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Proficiency in SQL and Google Sheets/Excel for data analysis
  • Experience with Snowflake, Google Analytics, or Qlik is a plus
  • Flexibility to work varied hours
  • Ability to engage with senior leadership confidently
  • Outstanding written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
