We’re looking for a creative, driven, and culturally attuned Marketing Specialist to lead the growth of Heymondo’s presence in the Romanian market. In this role, you will shape our digital voice, execute marketing strategies, and build meaningful connections with Romanian travelers—supporting our mission to make travel easier for everyone, everywhere.

This hands-on role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys balancing strategic planning with daily execution. You will collaborate closely with our Brand & Communication Manager to localize campaigns, manage cross-channel content, and coordinate impactful initiatives—from social media and influencer activations to blog content and events.

Mission :

Coordinate, support, and optimize our cross-channel marketing and communications plan.

Key responsibilities :
  1. Plan, develop, and execute marketing and communication strategies for the Romanian market in collaboration with the Brand Manager.
  2. Implement the social media strategy for Romania alongside the Social Media Manager.
  3. Organize external events in Romania.
  4. Negotiate and monitor agreements with brand ambassadors and influencers, coordinating with the Affiliate Manager for Romania.
  5. Create, proofread, and edit content across various mediums, including website, campaigns, blogs, PR, and newsletters.
  6. Manage blog content strategy and creation on WordPress with the SEO Manager.
  7. Identify growth opportunities by analyzing market trends and competitors.
  8. Oversee the marketing and communication budget for Romania.
  9. Plan and execute newsletters and email marketing campaigns.
  10. Coordinate with marketing and other teams to enhance brand awareness.
  11. Ensure consistent application of verbal and visual brand identity guidelines.
Requirements :
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bilingual in Romanian and Spanish.
  • Excellent Romanian writing skills.
  • Creative thinker and highly motivated.
  • Self-starter and proactive.
  • Passionate about travel.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Skills :
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
  • Proven experience managing social media across multiple platforms.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and SEO is a plus.
  • Passionate, proactive, and data-driven mindset.
  • Creative and engaging storyteller.
Schedule :
  • Full-time, flexible hours (7.5 hours/day).
  • 100% remote work; option to work from our Barcelona office near Torre Agbar.
  • Applicants must be Spanish residents with legal right to work in Spain.
