We’re looking for a creative, driven, and culturally attuned Marketing Specialist ready to take the lead on growing Heymondo’s presence in the Romanian market. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping our digital voice, executing marketing strategies, and building meaningful connections with Romanian travelers — all while supporting our mission: making travel easier for everyone, everywhere.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves switching between big-picture strategy and day-to-day execution. You’ll work closely with our Brand & Communication Manager to localize campaigns, manage cross-channel content, and coordinate impactful initiatives — from social media and influencer activations to blog content and events. We’re looking for someone who’s part communicator, part strategist, and fully passionate about digital marketing. Mission :

Coordinate, support and optimize our cross-channel marketing and communications plan.

Key responsibilities :

1. Plan, develop, and execute the marketing and communications strategy for the Romanian market in collaboration with the Brand Manager.
2. Execute the social media strategy for the Romanian market in collaboration with the Social Media Manager.
3. Plan and organize external events in Romania.
4. Negotiate and monitor agreements with brand ambassadors and influencers in close coordination with the Affiliate Manager for Romania.
5. Write, proofread, and edit content across various mediums, including website, campaigns, blogs, PR, and newsletters.
6. Manage our blog strategy and content creation on WordPress in collaboration with the SEO Manager.
7. Identify growth opportunities by analyzing market trends and competitors.
8. Oversee the marketing and communication budget for the Romanian market.
9. Plan and execute newsletters and email marketing campaigns.
10. Work closely with the marketing team and other teams to coordinate brand awareness efforts.
11. Ensure consistent application of verbal and visual brand identity guidelines across all communications.

Requirements :

Between 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position. Bilingual: Romanian and Spanish. Excellent writing skills in Romanian. Creative thinker. Highly motivated. Self-starter and hands-on. Passionate about travel. Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented. Strong interpersonal abilities. Strong communication skills.

Key Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or similar. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience managing social media accounts across multiple platforms (including writing, scheduling, and analyzing). Nice to have: knowledge of WordPress and SEO techniques. Be passionate, proactive, and data-driven. Creative, funny, and an inspirational storyteller.

Schedule :

Full Time, flexible hours (7.5 hours a day). 100% remote (we have a very nice office next to Torre Agbar in Barcelona if you prefer to work from there).
