KWS Vegetables is currently seeking a highly creative and motivatedMarketing Specialist (m/f/d) who possesses a strong team spirit, flexibility, and proactivity to join our team inAlmeria, Spain. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and execute online and offline marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and demand generation. This is a permanent and full-time position.

Key duties:

Lead the creation of the marketing communications plan in collaboration with local teams and BU marketing, ensuring alignment with our brand, product, and customer strategies. Drive and implement creative projects and marketing campaigns that elevate the brand value of KWS Vegetables and its products within the territory, covering the entire process from demonstration to sales, and highlighting the unique value KWS Vegetables offers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Local Commercial and Crop Teams to prioritize, plan and implement highly segmented and targeted marketing projects (campaigns, events, introductions, CRM). Execute global marketing campaigns locally. Steer agencies and oversee the budget.
  • Create engaging and shareable content (text, images, videos). Convert product positioning into precise messaging. Develop and edit marketing materials (resources, tools, brochures, leaflets). Collaborate with international stakeholders on creative projects and manage internal communications to inform and engage the local vegetable community.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize online campaigns across various platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Develop and manage social media channels, engaging with the online community. Maintain the website optimized for SEO.
  • Plan and organize events (open days, exhibitions, webinars, podcasts) to support product promotion. Coordinate promotional merchandise.
  • Customer insights and market connection: Build and maintain relationships with local team members and reference customers to gather valuable market insights ensuring marketing planning and execution aligned to customer needs. Maintain a strong relation with local marketing channels and networks.
  • Successful implementation of planned marketing projects and alignment with global strategies locally.
  • Measured by the success of online and offline marketing campaigns through engagement metrics and conversion rates.
  • Brand awareness: Increase in brand visibility and recognition in the market.
  • Growth in followers, engagement rates, and content reach on social media platforms.
  • Quality and impact of created content and consistency with brand tone and style, measured by audience engagement and feedback.
  • Success of planned events, measured by attendance, engagement, and feedback.
  • Coordinate and work closely with the local team (Country Manager, Product Development Managers, Sales Managers) and global BU Vegetables Marketing.

You’re profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communication (or related field).
  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a similar role in the vegetable seed business.
  • Proficient in English, and fluent in Spanish.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems with a data-driven approach to marketing campaigns. Knowledge of design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Adobe, etc).
  • Knowledge and experience with online marketing, including social media, advertising, and SEO.
  • Affinity with the horticulture or agriculture business and supply chains is desirable.
  • Easily connecting with many stakeholders and strong ability to convey the essence of a complex message.
  • Ability to take initiative and act independently in an impactful way.
  • Focused on achieving results and intervening when results fall short.
  • Ability to generate new, original ideas and effectively translate them into professional, on-brand content.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills
