Job Description:
Role description: As part of the global marketing team reporting to the CMO, this role involves designing, leading, and executing various events globally, including managing Dida’s tradeshow presence worldwide. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and executing high-quality events that enhance attendee experience and company perception.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a global event strategy aligned with Dida’s objectives.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, budgeting, and timelines.
- Oversee large-scale B2B events like conferences, trade shows, and partner summits across regions.
- Develop sponsorship programs in collaboration with the commercial team.
Attendee Experience & Engagement:
- Create attendee journeys to maximize engagement and satisfaction.
- Manage registration, ticketing, and event platform integration.
- Coordinate content delivery, speaker management, and interactive sessions.
Logistics & Operations:
- Lead on-site event execution, including setup, staffing, A/V, catering, and transportation.
- Maintain relationships with venues, suppliers, and exhibitors.
- Oversee event technology, including virtual/hybrid platforms.
Marketing & Promotion:
- Work with marketing to promote events and follow-up.
- Create event branding and promotional materials.
- Use social media and email campaigns to increase reach.
Budget & Performance Analysis:
- Monitor budgets and ensure ROI.
- Measure success through KPIs like attendance and engagement.
- Provide post-event reports for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Over 5 years of event management experience, preferably in B2B travel, tech, or hospitality.
- Experience organizing large multi-day events with 500+ attendees.
- Strong project management skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Expertise in logistics, vendor management, and attendee experience.
- Familiarity with virtual/hybrid event platforms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
