A leading international toy company is seeking a Commercial Manager for its newly opening office in Spain. This role involves managing sales strategies, negotiating with retailers across Spain and Portugal, and leading a local team to enhance business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Commercial Management and a proven ability to drive market growth, along with fluency in English and a degree in a related field.

Formación

  • Degree in Sales, Business Administration, or similar.
  • Five+ years experience in Commercial Management in Spain/Portugal.
  • Proven track record creating growth strategies.

Just Play, a leading American toy company, is a passionate and trend-driven leader in the children’s consumer goods industry. Our products are an impressive mix of promotional and everyday items for the whole family. We work with the world’s leading children’s entertainment brands to manufacture and distribute exceptional products to every major mass retailer throughout North America and around the world. As we expand internationally, we are opening offices in various key locations, including Spain. The UK office was opened in January 2021 to prepare for the direct sale and marketing of Just Play toys in the UK market. The Spain office will follow a similar pattern with a locally based core local role team, working closely with the UK-based EMEA team for strategic alignment and support.

Job Summary :

  • Responsible for sales and forecasts.
  • Serve as a contact person between customers and internal teams.
  • Negotiate terms and establish agreements with Spanish and Portuguese retailers (both DOM and DI).
  • Develop annual account business trade plans.
  • Oversee daily business operations.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Research and identify growth opportunities.
  • Generate reports and lead presentations both internally and externally.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams.
  • Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Degree in Sales, Business Administration, or similar relevant field.
  • Five+ years of experience in Commercial Management and / or Key Account Management in Spain / Portugal.
  • A demonstrated track record of creating growth strategies that have improved a business’s market position.
  • Existing relationships with retailers.
  • Previous experience working with licensors.
  • Marketing experience is considered a plus.
  • Domestic and international travel as needed.
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
