Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator for EMEA will manage all B2C and B2B marketing activities for brand and trade for NBCUniversal Networks’ brands in this region with a special focus on Spain channels as the key territory however this role will also support (when required) other territories and brands across EMEA.

The brands managed in the region are: Universal+, Calle 13/13eme Rue/ 13Ulica, SYFY/SCIFI, E!, DIVA and DreamWorks

The role requires excellent project management skills, as well as being an organized person and working directly with (Head of Marketing Southern Europe). The role also works with the VP Marketing and Iberia Country Lead based in Madrid to assist in the delivery of the B2B and B2C marketing strategy implementation and business' objectives to generate revenue. The successful candidate will help drive world-class activity with commitment and enthusiasm and help position NBCUniversal International Networks and DTC as a TV marketing leader.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

B2B

  • Contribute to trade marketing activity that drives revenue generation in the region.
  • Develop and execute key sales events that support revenue generation (Ad Sales events, Media Agencies activities, and others)
  • Execute the annual trade engagement strategy for Spain ad sales and distribution and ensure it complements with the EMEA year plan.
  • Be a point of contact forour key clients and partners in Iberia, such as Movistar+, Mas Orange, Vodafone, Digi, Nos and Meo, to coordinate all the communication processes, marketing activities and campaigns with the different territories in the region.
  • Be a point of contact forWWP Media Brands to implement the assigned campaigns and activities related to our commitments and agreements with key clients (Affiliates and Ad Sales)
  • Maintain strong relations and communication with the Ad Sales Team based in the territory, as this is one of the key priorities for the business.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver with the creative team world class marketing collateral, including key arts and any audiovisual elements such as TV spots, digital items, etc. for campaigns; sales reels, sales guides trade advertising, digital assets to support ad and affiliate sales objectives across all channels in the portfolio for the region.

Events:

  • Coordinate corporate hospitality for events that are run at a corporate level

B2C

Campaigns:

  • Develop and implement innovative, effective brand and associated marketing campaigns for Spain and Portugal, programming acquisitions and for brand projects: tentpole campaigns, marketing activations.
  • Management of the Creative Digital Support for Social Media needs
  • Briefings for agency and liaison with Creative Team to coordinate its implementation.

Brand Management:

  • Work with wider Marketing, PR and Social Media team – creative, digital, research, PR etc. on all the projects for the region
  • Ensure all brand materials are up to date on all systems.
  • Liaison with suppliers: merchandise, creative agencies, etc
  • Oversee the Company, brands, and channels style guide (Off air) and liaise with Creative to be aligned.
  • Support the special activations for ad sales.
  • Support events such as Content presentations, breakfasts, bespoke activities for key clients and advertisers, etc.

Budget control, Analytics, Research & Reporting:

  • Budget control and PO raiser
  • Barters with third parties
  • Understanding of channel and programme performance in Spain but also knowledge appetite for the performance of all territories of the region.

Events:

  • Prepare and manage the key events and campaigns for Iberia mainly and support in
  • Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training

Symphony:

  • Coordinator for Iberia Channels in collaboration with other divisions and entities of the group for the projects assigned on a annual strategy.

Qualifications

The position requires a professional and motivated person with the following attributes:

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and self-driven, capable of working independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent English language (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of the BTC market and landscape.
  • Creative thinker with a strong sense of initiative and attention to detail.
  • Some experience in the media industry, ideally within a marketing or communications role.
  • Native Spanish speaker with fluency in English; proficiency in a third language (Polish, Romanian, French or Portuguese) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of the television and streaming media landscape.
  • Familiarity with digital and social media advertising platforms.
  • Proficient in presentation tools (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva) and design software (Photoshop).
