We are looking for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the marketing department in various operational and creative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media, print coordination, and general marketing support, and be eager to grow in a dynamic environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media & Advertising
- Assist in publishing content on social media platforms, particularly Stories.
- Coordinate with Jose to optimize social media audience targeting.
- Improve audience engagement through segmentation, optimal posting times, and tailored content strategies.
- Monitor campaign results and adjust strategies accordingly.
Menu Management
- Review menus before sending them to print.
- Update menus on the website.
- Coordinate menu printing with the print shop.
- Follow up to ensure printed materials are received on time.
Print Coordination
- Send graphic materials (flyers, magazines, posters, etc.) to the print shop.
- Track the progress of all print jobs.
- Ensure all print materials meet quality standards and deadlines.
Design Collaboration
- Stay up to date on all graphic design projects.
- Follow up with Jarno to coordinate design priorities.
- Learn and assist with WordPress management alongside Jarno (content uploads, web updates, etc.).
Breathe Magazine
- Oversee advertiser contracts.
- Ensure all advertisers are correctly represented in the magazine.
- Send the final version of the magazine to print.
Email Management
- Create new email addresses as needed.
- Remove outdated or unused email accounts.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support as required.
Google My Business
- Keep Google My Business profiles for all venues up to date.
- Upload recent photos, update hours, and post about upcoming events.
Requirements
- Must live in or near Marbella
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own a car.
- Experience in social media and marketing support.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortable with multitasking and working independently.
- Basic familiarity with WordPress (or willingness to learn).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
