Your new role

The Interim Marketing Segment Lead, Enterprise, will manage the segment's marketing strategy and revenue goals during a 14-month maternity leave. Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Segment Marketing, your responsibilities include executing existing marketing initiatives, collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams, and supporting cross-functional alignment. You will focus on lead generation, pipeline growth, brand consistency, data-driven decisions, and AI marketing workflows, with regular updates to the VP.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Maintain Leads and Pipeline Growth
  2. Execute Account-Based Marketing targeting strategic customers for cross-sell, up-sell, and new opportunities.
  3. Support pre- and post-event campaigns for trade conferences and industry events.
  4. Collaborate with Product teams to tailor GTM plans to personas and regions.
  5. Develop segment-specific content with thought leadership teams.
  1. Maintain Strategic Planning
  2. Manage marketing programs for customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  3. Monitor performance metrics, report, and optimize campaigns.
  4. Handle marketing planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  1. Support Sales Success
  2. Serve as the main contact for sales team needs and feedback.
  3. Maintain sales pitch decks for consistency and relevance.
  1. Maintain Customer / Industry Knowledge and Engagement
  2. Refine messaging and branding to align with the segment and company tone.
  3. Update buyer personas and develop industry partnerships.
  4. Support customer engagement activities like advisory boards and roundtables.
  1. Lead Segment Marketing Strategy
  2. Coordinate cross-channel marketing efforts including social and web.
  1. Maintain Events
  2. Identify key industry events for sponsorship and attendance.
  3. Coordinate with speakers and support proprietary event creation.
  1. Maintain Segment Marketing Success
  2. Support cross-segment initiatives and ensure operational consistency.
  1. Handover and Transition
  2. Document all activities and share updates with leadership.
  3. Ensure a smooth handover to the returning lead.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of enterprise marketing experience, especially in life sciences, financial services, R&D sectors like manufacturing and high tech.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proven success in executing enterprise marketing campaigns.
  • Creative with persuasive writing skills.
  • Strong understanding of research roles in the enterprise sector.
  • Experience with automation tools (Salesforce, Pardot, Customer.io) and project management (Asana).
  • Experience in matrix organizations.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
