Formación

As a Market Development Engineer specializing in IP&E technologies, you will determine, develop, scale, and lead the implementation of successful, comprehensive solution programs that accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within the associated markets or business segments.

What will you be doing?

  1. You will specialize in key market segments and technologies of the business, as assigned within the dedicated Vertical.
  2. You will own the go-to-market strategy plan for the assigned market/business segment.
  3. Conduct business strategy activities to include total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
  4. Collaborate with the BU on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support the assigned market.
  5. Work with suppliers, product management, and other product and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
  6. Create, gain approvals for, and execute (upon approval) comprehensive products and service offers.
  7. Contribute to the development of communication programs and materials for use in business development.
  8. Evaluate, recommend, and manage supplier and channel programs within the assigned market.
  9. Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs aimed to drive increased market share and visibility for internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.
  11. Build and manage influential relationships with key suppliers.
  12. Make "joint" calls with ARROW and supplier’s Sales personnel where it is strategically and tactically appropriate on a regular basis.
  13. Be involved with supplier web training for new products, new product releases, and supplier promotions, and identify market/customer penetration strategies with the appropriate products.

What are we looking for?

  1. Experience in the electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing, or Product management - must have.
  2. Experience in IP&E.
  3. Experience in engineering and business strategy – market & customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis) - must have.
  4. Strong sales skills.
  5. Full driving license and readiness for business travel - must have.
  6. English language skills - fluently in writing and spoken.
  7. Spanish language skills (native or C1).
  8. Expertise in engaging executive-level stakeholders.
  9. Track record in delivering results in market/segment management or development of comprehensive solutions offers in the business-to-business industry.
  10. Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
  11. Demonstration of project/team leadership and collaboration skills.
