Position: Market Development Engineer (IP&E Technologies)

As a Market Development Engineer specializing in IP&E technologies, you will determine, develop, scale, and lead the implementation of successful, comprehensive solution programs that accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within designated markets or business segments.

What will you be doing?
  1. Specialize in key market segments and technologies within the assigned Vertical.
  2. Own the go-to-market strategy plan for the assigned market/business segment.
  3. Conduct business strategy activities including market analysis, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
  4. Collaborate with Business Units on product road mapping, new product development, and product management to support the assigned market.
  5. Work with suppliers, product management, and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
  6. Create, gain approvals for, and execute comprehensive product and service offers.
  7. Contribute to communication programs and materials for business development.
  8. Evaluate, recommend, and manage supplier and channel programs within the assigned market.
  9. Develop marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs to increase market share and visibility.
  10. Lead Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.
  11. Build and manage relationships with key suppliers.
  12. Make joint calls with Arrow and supplier sales personnel as appropriate.
  13. Participate in supplier web training for new products and promotions, and identify market/customer penetration strategies.
What are we looking for?
  1. Experience in the electronics industry or manufacturing in sales, engineering, marketing, or product management.
  2. Experience in IP&E technologies.
  3. Experience in engineering and business strategy, including market segmentation, competitive benchmarking, and financial analysis.
  4. Strong sales skills.
  5. Full driving license and readiness for business travel.
  6. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  7. Spanish language skills (native or C1 level).
  8. Ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders.
  9. Proven track record in market/segment management or developing comprehensive solutions in a B2B industry.
  10. Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
  11. Leadership and collaboration skills.
