Market Development Engineer - Interconnect Part
As a Market Development Engineer specializing in Interconnect parts, you will determine, develop, scale, and lead the implementation of successful, comprehensive solution programs that accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within the associated markets or business segments.
What will you be doing?
- Specialize in key market segments and technologies within the dedicated vertical.
- Own the go-to-market strategy plan for the assigned market/business segment.
- Conduct business strategy activities including market analysis, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
- Collaborate on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities.
- Work with suppliers and product management to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
- Create, approve, and execute comprehensive product and service offers.
- Develop communication programs and materials for business development.
- Evaluate and manage supplier and channel programs within the market.
- Contribute to marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs to increase market share and visibility.
- Lead Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate marketing opportunities.
- Build and manage relationships with key suppliers.
- Participate in supplier web training for new products and promotions, and identify market penetration strategies.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in the electronics industry or manufacturing in sales, engineering, marketing, or product management.
- Experience in Interconnect parts.
- Skills in engineering and business strategy, including market segmentation and financial analysis.
- Strong sales skills.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel within EMEA.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders.
- Proven track record in market/segment management or solution development in B2B industries.
- Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
- Leadership and collaboration skills.
