A leading medical technology company seeks a market development manager to drive the introduction and adoption of innovative urology treatments. This role requires strong marketing skills, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and the ability to analyze market dynamics. Ideal candidates will have experience in the medical device industry and be bilingual in Spanish and English.

Formación

  • At least 36 months of experience in medical device product management, marketing, or sales.
  • Experience in urology or implementing new therapies is advantageous.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (minimum B2 level).

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive the market introduction and procedural adoption within all healthcare environments by executing a market development strategy in close collaboration and alignment with the UroHys Global BU strategic direction.
  • Support international collaboration with Iberian and EMEA marketing functions, planning and executing local marketing activities targeted at urology healthcare professionals and BPH patients.
  • Support market access and reimbursement conditions for new procedures by collaborating with external contractors and internal colleagues. Execute economic and access strategies with local governments, associations, healthcare providers, and payers.
  • Provide guidelines to adapt European clinical and economic value propositions to local market needs.
  • Identify and onboard centres of excellence, generating and engaging with leads to build influence within the key opinion network.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the BPH market environment and competitive dynamics in Italy. Collate market intelligence, competitor activity, product updates, customer reactions, and share insights with local and EMEA colleagues.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor timelines, budgets, and performance metrics; regularly appraise performance against targets for local and EMEA management.
  • Collaborate with professional education colleagues and field application specialists to plan and execute regional certification pathways and training programs for physicians adopting new procedures.
  • Support clinical procedures performed by healthcare professionals and assist in certifying the sales team for supporting procedures autonomously.
  • Work collaboratively across all Commercial Business Units to develop clinician training through regional and local educational events.
  • Represent Olympus at national and international congresses focused on innovative BPH treatments and support global collaboration within the therapy area.
  • Clear and concise communication skills in Spanish and English (minimum B2 level).
  • Strong drive, self-motivation, flexibility, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and work independently.
  • Team collaboration and lateral leadership skills.
  • At least 36 months of experience in medical device product management, marketing, or sales / BDM (multiple areas desirable).
  • Prior experience in urology or implementing new therapies in NHS and private settings is advantageous.
  • Experience with reimbursement or healthcare payor projects is advantageous.
