DFDS is seeking a Marine HR Officer to join the Global Crewing team in Algeciras, supporting crew employment across the Strait of Gibraltar fleet. You will manage day-to-day HR administration, records, payroll inputs, and onboarding for a multinational crew on four vessels, with occasional travel to nearby ports and ships.

Based in the Algeciras office, you will apply expertise in Spanish labour law, CBAs, MLC 2006, and flag-state compliance while liaising with authorities and unions to ensure

Formación

• Experience in Marine HR, Crewing, or Maritime Personnel role.
• Solid knowledge of Spanish Labour Law and CBAs in maritime sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR/crewing management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Issue and file seafarer contracts and variations, maintain employment records.
• Track certificates of competency and flag state examinations for compliance.
• Prepare payroll inputs and social security registrations.
• Maintain manning tables, rotation records, and onboarding for new crew.
• Handle disciplinary, grievance, and investigation processes.
