This full-time role runs from 08:00 to 17:00 with a permanent contract. The gross annual salary ranges between €20,000 and €24,000, depending on your proven experience, and you will be based locally in Palma.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of retail experience, preferably nautical or DIY/hardware.
• Fluent English (C1) to assist international clients.
• Strong computer skills for store software and inventory control.
• Valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and advise customers on nautical products and finalize sales.
• Maintain the sales floor, keep shelves orderly and stocked.
• Handle daily administrative duties including cash register closures and returns.
• Oversee stock levels via regular inventory checks and monitor merchandise availability.
• Receive goods, check condition against delivery notes and report discrepancies.
• Implement loyalty initiatives and resolve customer complaints.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will cover both direct retail advisory and administrative store operations:

• Welcome and advise customers on technical nautical products and conclude sales at the checkout.
• Maintain the sales floor, keeping shelves orderly, clean, and fully stocked.
• Handle daily administrative duties including cash register closures, returns, supplier delivery notes, and incident tracking.
• Oversee stock levels through regular inventory checks and monitor merchandise availability.
• Receive incoming goods, inspect product condition against delivery notes, and report discrepancies to management.
• Implement customer loyalty initiatives guided by commercial direction and resolve any customer complaints smoothly.

What you bring to the role:

• At least 12 months of retail experience, with preference given to background in the nautical sector or DIY and hardware retail.
• High proficiency in English (C1 level) to comfortably assist international clients.
• Solid computer literacy for managing store software and inventory.
• A valid driving license.
• A proactive, well-organized mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine focus on customer satisfaction.
