Job summary

Symrise is seeking an HR Business Partner to support roughly 200 employees across Parets del Vallès, Cervera, and Barcelona. You will partner with HR Operations, CoEs, and local leadership to ensure effective HR processes, drive change, and promote a healthy social climate.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, workforce planning, and alignment of HR initiatives with regional and global priorities in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• University degree in HR, Business Admin, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience as HR Business Partner supporting industrial/manufacturing functions or in a multinational/matrix organization.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish employment legislation and practical application.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; additional languages (Catalan, French, German) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scope & Stakeholder Management: HR responsibility for ~200 employees across Parets del Vallès, Cervera, and Barcelona offices.
• Strategic HR & Workforce Management: Contribute to local HR strategy, workforce planning, and people analytics.
• Employee Relations & Social Climate: Manage employee relations, including conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters; lead works council relations.
• Talent, TA & Rewards: Support talent management programs and collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies; assist salary review and compensation discussions.
