MANUFACTURING ENGINEER LARGE RADIAL STRUCTURES (F / M / X)

Location : Zamudio, Bizkaia

Objective of the Position

We are seeking professionals to join our team as Manufacturing Process Engineers for aerospace components, focusing on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for large radial structures.

Main Responsibilities

1. Define manufacturing processes for new components, including process routes, solid models, instructions, and work guides.
2. Identify and implement improvements to industrialize products, reducing time, costs, and non-quality expenses.
3. Support production and continuous process improvement initiatives.
4. Implement new technologies and planned improvements to enhance competitiveness.
5. Identify process control variables to ensure sustainable results.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technologies, or similar; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes, especially in welded assemblies.
• Knowledge of drawing interpretation, 3D modeling (preferably Siemens NX), and statistical analysis.
• Fluent in Spanish, with a First Certificate level or equivalent in English.
• Valued but not essential: experience with nickel or titanium machining, welding, dimensional verification, non-destructive testing, and management software like Teamcenter and SAP.
• Personal skills include teamwork, coordination, communication, autonomy, proactivity, results orientation, adaptability, motivation for improvement, and willingness to work in a dynamic, international environment.

Training Provided

• Manufacturing processes of static aircraft engine components.
• Tools and software for product and process management.
• Process data analysis (SPC, etc.).
• Aircraft parts quality management.
• Ergonomics and safety in processes.
• Lean Manufacturing concepts.

You will work at ITP Aero’s headquarters in Zamudio, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals engaged in long-term projects for civil and industrial aviation. The team includes process engineers, CNC programmers, inspection specialists, and engineers in various fields.
