Manheim Mobile Inspections is seeking an on-site Vehicle Inspector to perform dealer-focused condition inspections within an assigned territory in San Diego and to document vehicle condition accurately and promptly.

You will act as a Cox Automotive brand ambassador, building strong dealer relationships and encouraging participation in mobile inspection services, while working with minimal supervision and exercising independent judgment.

Job Description

The Mobile Inspector functions as a key member of the Manheim Mobile Inspections team, responsible for conducting on‑site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory. This role provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of vehicle condition in accordance with Manheim inspection standards, supporting client trust, marketplace transparency, and inventory flow.

Mobile Inspectors build strong relationships with dealer clients by delivering consistent, high‑quality inspections, acting as brand ambassadors for Cox Automotive, and actively engaging dealers to grow participation in Manheim’s mobile inspection services.

This role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision while demonstrating increasing independence, sound judgment, and problem‑solving skills.
