Welocalize is seeking a native-level Mandarin Chinese speaker for a confidential, large-scale AI and consumer technology programme. The role is on-site, evaluating a pre-release AI model in Mandarin and testing performance on client devices, including smartphones and smart glasses.

You will be among the first to see new technology and help shape its usability and quality. The work requires attention to detail, independent testing, and clear reporting in English.

Formación

• Native-level Mandarin Chinese, written and spoken.
• Confidence with a smartphone and a laptop, and comfort moving between iOS and Android.
• Sharp eye for detail and objective judgement in assessing quality.

Responsabilidades

• Review pre-release AI model output in Mandarin Chinese for accuracy, naturalness, and appropriateness against source material.
• Test Mandarin Chinese experience against English, ensure feature parity and non-Latin script handling.
• Identify display and localization issues—dates, numbers, currency, or untranslated strings.
• Document issues clearly with steps, device, OS, locale, and build ID; re-test after fixes.
