Welocalize is seeking a native-level Malay speaker to join a confidential, large-scale AI programme. This on-site role involves evaluating a pre-release AI model in Malay and testing performance on client devices, including smartphones and smart glasses.

You’ll be among the first to see the technology in Malay, shaping its usability and accuracy. The position requires attention to linguistic nuance and the ability to follow a detailed test script.

Formación

• Native-level Malay, both written and spoken, with daily language usage.
• Comfort with smartphones and laptops; capable on iOS and Android.
• Strong eye for detail and objective judgment in QA.
• Ability to follow a detailed test script and explain issues in English.

Responsabilidades

• Review pre-release AI model output in Malay for accuracy, naturalness, and appropriateness.
• Test Malay experience against English, ensure feature parity and non-Latin script support.
• Spot display and localization problems like truncation or untranslated strings.
• Write clear issue repro steps with device, OS, locale, and build ID; re-test after fixes.
• Provide language-usage perspective on navigation and usability; work on-site in a private, secure area.
