The Admissions Manager is responsible for managing the admissions and commercial performance of one or more programs within the IE portfolio. The role combines candidate assessment, relationship management, business development and cross-functional coordination to ensure a rigorous admissions process, a strong candidate experience and the achievement of enrollment objectives.

The Admissions Manager acts as a key point of contact throughout the candidate journey, conducting admissions interviews, providing personalized follow-up and supporting candidates from initial engagement through enrollment. The role also requires close collaboration with academic teams and other internal stakeholders to align admissions decisions, commercial priorities and program strategy.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid - IE Tower

Responsibilities

Your role as a Manager will involve:

  • Manage the admissions process for one or more programs, ensuring consistency, quality and compliance with IE’s admissions standards.
  • Review candidate applications and conduct structured admissions interviews.
  • Assess candidates’ academic, professional and personal fit with the relevant program.
  • Provide timely and personalized follow-up throughout the admissions journey.
  • Build trusted relationships with candidates and support them in making informed enrollment decisions.
  • Manage the assigned program portfolio, monitoring performance, identifying opportunities and contributing to recruitment and enrollment objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information within the CRM.
  • Use CRM data and Power BI dashboards to monitor activity, identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Participate in strategic meetings concerning program positioning, admissions criteria, recruitment priorities and portfolio development.
  • Collaborate closely with Academic, Marketing, Global Recruitment, Careers, Operations and Student Services teams.
  • Coordinate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Represent IE at recruitment fairs, information sessions, candidate events and other institutional activities.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of commercial plans and candidate engagement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve admissions processes, candidate experience and conversion.
  • Prepare qualitative and quantitative reports on candidate feedback, market developments, program performance and emerging risks.
  • Ensure that agreed actions are implemented and followed up across the relevant teams
Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple programs, priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Confidence working with CRM platforms, Power BI and other digital reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into practical actions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an international and fast-paced environment.
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Collaborative, proactive and accountable approach to work.
  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience.
