Title and Summary
Your Role:
The SME Product Sales Specialist drives the commercial success and market penetration of our products and solutions in their market. This role sits at the intersection of sales, product management, and customer engagement, ensuring that our solutions meet local market needs while aligning with global and regional business objectives.
SME sales specialists are sales-driven professionals with a deep understanding of local market dynamics, customer needs, and SME product positioning. They work closely with Account Management and Business Development teams, SME regional product managers, and key market stakeholders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, drive volume and revenue growth, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive sales of SME products, solutions, and related services and initiatives within the market, in line with GDV and revenue targets.
- Localization: Adapt and localize solutions and go-to-market approaches to ensure alignment with local market needs, regulatory requirements, and customer preferences, maximizing relevance and commercial success (e.g., Business Bonus localization, partnerships).
- Market Analysis & Growth: Proactively identify growth opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, performance, and competitive dynamics. Drive strategic initiatives to execute the SME agenda, ensuring sustained business growth, expansion, and market leadership.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and advocating for solutions that drive value. While account managers and business development teams primarily own customer relationships, the SME Product Sales Specialist actively engages with clients and prospects to advance the SME agenda.
- Pipeline & Performance Management: Own end-to-end pipeline management, including tracking, execution, and delivery of opportunities such as SME portfolio optimization, acquisitions, and renewals. Track and analyze KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
- Internal Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure successful product launches, sales enablement, and market adaptation.
Your Profile:
- Master's Degree in Business or Engineering.
- Account management skills and/or sales experience.
- Proven ability to develop and implement quantifiable business plans.
- Over 10 years of experience.
- Previous experience in consulting and project management with a technological background.
