Global Insurance manages BBVA's insurance strategy, aiming to create value through insurance and pension businesses, expanding the strategic scope across geographies and segments. Responsibilities include strategy definition, coordination of global networks, innovation, risk management, and strategic monitoring, with a focus on digital transformation and collaboration across units.

We are responsible for managing the group's insurance risks and pension plans where we operate, acting as internal consultants for employee benefits such as insurance and retirement plans.

About the job :

Contribute to creating and managing the global insurance vision, staying abreast of market trends, products, services, and digital innovations to provide insurance solutions within CIB.

Based in London, you will :

• Serve as the contact for the CIB UK team regarding insurance needs related to financing operations, transferring risks to the insurance market.
• Represent BBVA BROKER, managing relationships with insurers and brokers in London, generating synergies between UK and Spain markets.
• Monitor insured operations with involved teams (Distribution, Legal, Workout, Hub).
• Utilize analytical skills in financial data management.
• Negotiate with insurance companies for product and risk coverage, influencing from a technical perspective.

We seek candidates with :

• Experience in insurance within CIB financing.
• Operational knowledge of CIB business and leadership in managing relationships with distribution and risk mitigation teams.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic skills, including knowledge of political and credit risk coverage, Lloyd’s market experience, and digital transformation capabilities.

Qualifications :

• At least 5 years of experience in CIB structured financings.
• Desirable international project leadership experience.
• Proficiency in deliverables, presentations, teamwork, and communication.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, high proficiency in Office tools, and willingness to travel.
• University degree and high English proficiency are valued.
