Dauch is seeking a Manager of Human Resources for its Zumaia and Legazpi plants in Spain. You will partner with plant leadership to align people strategy with business goals and drive workforce planning, talent management and employee engagement.

The role requires multi-site HR experience, strong knowledge of Spanish labor law, and fluency in Basque, Spanish and English. You will lead labor relations, organizational change and development, while ensuring compliance and a high-performance culture.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Law or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years HR experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
  • Experience managing employee and labor relations in a unionized environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law and collective bargaining.
  • Experience leading organizational change and transformation projects.
  • Fluency in Basque, Spanish and English.

Job Description Summary
  • The HR Manager is a key member of the Leadership Teams of the Zumaia and Legazpi plants, contributing to business strategy, operational performance and organizational effectiveness through people leadership.
  • The position acts as a strategic partner while ensuring effective execution of HR policies, employee relations, talent management, organizational development, workforce planning and labor compliance.
  • The position-holder plays a critical part in driving business performance through people, fostering a positive employee relations climate, supporting operational excellence and ensuring alignment with regional and global HR strategies.
Job Description
  • Strategic HR Business Partner - partner with plant leadership to align people and business strategies, advise managers on organizational design, workforce planning and talent priorities, drive employee engagement and culture initiatives
  • Leadership Team Member - act as a trusted advisor to the Zumaia and Legazpi Plant Leadership Teams, provide people insights to support operational and business performance, influence leadership decisions from a people and culture perspective
  • Labor Relations & Social Dialog - lead relationships with Works Councils, Trade Unions and employee representatives, manage collective bargaining and labor negotiations, foster constructive employee relations across both sites
  • Employment Law & Compliance - ensure compliance with Spanish labor law, collective agreements and company policies, oversee disciplinary processes and conflict resolution, minimize legal and employee relations risks
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding - lead recruitment activities to attract key talent, oversee onboarding and integration of new employees
  • Talent Development & Succession - drive talent reviews and succession planning processes, support high-potential and leadership development initiatives, promote employee growth, talent retention and career opportunities
  • Performance Management - lead annual performance and talent calibration processes, coach managers on performance improvement and development actions, strengthen a high-performance culture
  • Compensation & Rewards - support compensation and benefits programs, ensure fair and consistent application of reward policies, maintain market competitiveness and internal equity
  • HR Operations & Analytics - oversee HR administration, payroll coordination and personnel records, monitor HR metrics and provide business insights, ensure compliant and accurate HR reporting
  • Change & Transformation - lead organizational change and restructuring initiatives, support business transformation and operational excellence programs, drive communication, stakeholder engagement and change adoption
Required Skills And Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or a related field (Masters preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment - experience supporting multiple sites highly desirable
  • Experience managing employee and labor relations in a unionized environment
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law and collective bargaining processes
  • Experience in leading organizational change and transformation projects
  • Leadership competence surrounding strategic thinking, business acumen, decision making and influencing at Senior Leadership level
  • People management skills in coaching, conflict resolution, negotiation and communication
  • Fluency in Basque, Spanish and English required
