ICF is seeking a Consultant for its Aviation team in Madrid. This role involves managing teams, delivering consultancy projects in commercial aviation, engaging with clients, and contributing to business development. Role:
As a consultant in the ICF Aviation team, you will be primarily responsible for delivering consultancy projects. Your typical tasks will include guiding junior staff, handling day-to-day communication with clients, and delivering solutions using various analytical techniques.
The role is tailored for someone with recent commercial aviation experience, covering topics such as airline network planning, air traffic forecasting, market demand studies, strategy, fleet analysis, revenue and cost benchmarking, air service development, and business plan review and creation.
Clients typically include airline management, investors, and airports seeking insights into the aviation market and its service providers. The role is cross-functional within ICF, supporting teams across Airlines, Airports, Tourism organisations, MROs, governments, and NGOs. Broad experience within the aviation industry is advantageous.
Your responsibilities will also include administrative tasks like developing budgets and scopes of work, project tracking, and liaising with ICF’s Contracts and Finance teams (training provided). You will contribute to business development by building client relationships, working on proposals, attending conferences, and contributing to thought leadership.
