A leading company in the sports industry seeks a Director of Global Partnerships, Iberia based in Madrid, Spain. The position involves developing key partnerships that enhance brand relationships within top sporting properties. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in sponsorship sales and strong leadership abilities.

Formación

  • At least eight (8) years of high-level partnership revenue performance, preferably in sports.
  • Pre-existing relationships with senior-level marketing executives.
  • Business-level competence of English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.

The Director of Global Partnerships, Iberia for this top sporting property in Portugal, will conceptualize, develop, and secure key corporate partnerships with companies wishing to maximize their relationship and investment with the club.

This position will report to the Vice President of Global Partnerships Iberia, and it will be located within Legends Iberia offices in Madrid, Spain.

She / he must already have an established reputation and track record of sport sponsorship sales’ success gained with any combination of major brands or agencies.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at the sports property and Brand companies.

Negotiate and close partnership deals and work with counsel or legal teams through contract execution.

Attend weekly meetings with senior-level executives and provide routine recruit updates.

Be a team player and contribute to the general success of Global Partnerships Iberia and the sports’ property across all facets.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.

The ideal candidate will have at least eight (8) years of high-level partnership revenue performance, preferring selling partnerships in the sports industry.

Pre-existing relationships with senior-level marketing executives.

Key agency contacts with media buyers, planners, and senior media management.

Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.

Ability to excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Business-level competence of English as a second language.

Knowledge of the Portuguese language is a plus.
