About the business

At Moeve, we’re driving transformation through our strategy, Positive Motion—a commitment to creating greener and more sustainable revenue streams. Within this journey, our Trading division plays a key role in optimizing the value of both traditional hydrocarbons and future energy flows.

To support this vision, we're looking for a Fixed Costs & CAPEX Analyst to join our team at Moeve Trading. If you're passionate about management control costs, driving efficiencies, and working at the intersection of finance and strategy, this could be your next move.

The responsibilities we´ll trust you with

As part of the Management Control team, you will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and optimizing fixed costs and investment spending (CAPEX) across the Trading business unit. Your work will directly contribute to financial efficiency and strategic alignment. Among your key responsibilities:

  • Analyze fixed costs across all entities in the business unit, identifying deviations and forecasting month-end and full-year projections.
  • Review contracted services (e.g., licenses, subscriptions, data access), assess their necessity, and propose cost optimization opportunities.
  • Track and analyze CAPEX spending, understand ongoing projects, and provide timely reporting.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and key stakeholders across the business and corporate functions.
  • Collaborate in the budgeting process for both fixed costs and CAPEX, ensuring data integrity and providing analytical insights.
  • Generate regular reports and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.
  • Support the broader Finance and Management Control teams with additional tasks and initiatives as needed.

What are we looking for?

We’re seeking a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working with both numbers and people.

Your background should include:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in fixed cost analysis or financial controlling.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, SAP (or other ERP systems), and ideally Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Adaptability to evolving business needs and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced English level (written and spoken).

An inclusive and rewarding place to work:

At Moeve, we believe in creating a workplace where everyone thrives. We offer a dynamic and inclusive environment, competitive benefits, and real opportunities for career growth. We are committed to:

  • Diversity & Inclusion – Actively supporting people with disabilities and closing gender gaps.
  • Equal Opportunities – Promoting fairness regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.
  • Continuous Learning – Providing development programs to help you shape your career.

Join us and be part of something bigger—let’s drive the future of energy together.
