Puig SL is seeking an aspiring R&D intern to assist the makeup development team in our Barcelona lab. You will learn development procedures, support stability studies, and help manage samples and documentation under guidance from experienced colleagues.

You will also explore market trends, textures and formats, and contribute to organizing test data and project records to support product development.

Formación

• Previous laboratory or internship experiences required.
• Genuine curiosity about make-up textures and colors, with enthusiasm for hands-on exploration and discovering how products feel on the skin.

The Opportunity

To provide support to the laboratory team, to know the procedures and development of the R&D projects

What you'll get to do

• Get hands-on with make-up development: Support the R&D team in day-to-day laboratory activities and ongoing projects, learning how development procedures are applied with guidance from experienced colleagues.
• Discover how products are tested: Assist with monitoring stability studies by recording observations, updating tracking files and flagging changes to the team. Help coordinate test samples and follow up on testing progress with other departments, under the team's guidance.
• Bring development samples to life: Help prepare, label and organize make-up samples for testing and evaluation, following established laboratory procedures and team instructions. Keep sample information up to date so each sample can be easily identified and tracked.
• Improve your technical documentation skills: Support the organization and updating of project records, test results and sample information. Help keep documentation accurate, complete and easy to access, using the team's templates and filing procedures.
• Explore the world of make-up: Support market research and competitor comparisons by gathering information on products, textures, formats and trends. Organize your findings into clear summaries to share with the team and build your understanding of the make-up market.

We'd love to meet you if you have

Experience:

• Previous laboratory or internship experiences required
• A genuine curiosity about make-up textures and colors, with an enthusiasm for hands-on exploration and discovering how products feel on the skin

Education:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Perfumery & Cosmetics or similar

Languages:

• French would be a plus
• Technical skills (laboratory)
• Basic knowledge in Windows, SAP, etc
• Strong interest in AI technologies
