Job summary

Puig is seeking a motivated lab assistant to support the R&D team in makeup development. You’ll assist with daily laboratory activities and ongoing projects under experienced colleagues’ guidance.

You’ll gain experience in testing, documenting results, and organizing samples while exploring textures and colors and staying curious about product feel on the skin. Fluency in Spanish and English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

Previous laboratory or internship experiences required.
Curiosity about makeup textures, colors, and how products feel on the skin.

Responsibilities

Support the R&D team in day-to-day laboratory activities and ongoing projects.
Monitor stability studies by recording observations and updating tracking files.
Prepare, label and organize makeup samples for testing and evaluation.
Assist with documentation of project records, test results and sample information.
Support market research by gathering product textures, formats and trends.

The Opportunity

To provide support to the laboratory team, to know the procedures and development of the R&D projects

What you'll get to do

Get hands-on with make-up development: Support the R&D team in day-to-day laboratory activities and ongoing projects, learning how development procedures are applied with guidance from experienced colleagues.
Discover how products are tested: Assist with monitoring stability studies by recording observations, updating tracking files and flagging changes to the team. Help coordinate test samples and follow up on testing progress with other departments, under the team's guidance.
Bring development samples to life: Help prepare, label and organize make-up samples for testing and evaluation, following established laboratory procedures and team instructions. Keep sample information up to date so each sample can be easily identified and tracked.
Improve your technical documentation skills: Support the organization and updating of project records, test results and sample information. Help keep documentation accurate, complete and easy to access, using the team's templates and filing procedures.
Explore the world of make-up: Support market research and competitor comparisons by gathering information on products, textures, formats and trends. Organize your findings into clear summaries to share with the team and build your understanding of the make-up market.
