As an expert, you will bring a deep technical mastery of the process and equipment. That expertise allows you to lead the planning, process development, and implementation of Planned Maintenance Elements in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment. You will manage this through teams consisting of various technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors, and operations personnel.
How you will contribute
- Collaborate and enable line leaders to meet SQCDSM (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Morale) objectives for the lines to ensure process stability. Participate in DMS (Daily Management Systems) meetings at shift and line levels.
- Manage technology and processes, having a deep technical mastery of them, as well as managing their central configuration. Oversee PM (Progressive Maintenance) systems and work processes and KPIs of the progressive maintenance of the lines along with central technology management systems. Manage the line's RyM (Repairs and Maintenance) budget.
- Develop, execute, and be responsible for preventive / on-time maintenance systems and plans for the lines and train the team to execute them; develop (at least 50% of the time) the technical and maintenance skills of technicians working shifts so they can operate and maintain their equipment independently; be part of the PM pillar, responsible for all PM systems and work processes at the line level and lead some at the department level.
- Collaborate with the asset and reliability team for system improvement and execution of special maintenance tasks; be responsible for change management on the line(s), spare parts localization, proper fault analysis, and RyM cost reduction for the line(s); represent the department or lines as the site technology administrator in regional and global technology forums.
- Assist in the VSU of new initiatives and train the VSU team; help the line leader in benchmarking and internal / external reapplication; be the expert in one of the component categories and trainer on PM-related topics for the plant.

- Advanced knowledge (including AM or Autonomous Maintenance step 4 and PM or Progressive Maintenance step 3) and the ability to maintain dedicated equipment in basic conditions independently, including executing AM and PM standards (BD or breakdown maintenance, planned maintenance) on dedicated equipment and TPM phase 3 and 4 tools for problem-solving.
- Ability to lead line positions, qualify and coach the next level of SWP owners, and drive common opportunity areas on the line with a PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Adjust) approach.
- Ability to work as a line leader, developing and aligning the line's objective, deploying and managing team members' IDPs, training them in performance management and career development.
More about this role
- Experience in handling, adjusting, and configuring electrical and electronic components, frequency converters, drivers, sensors, etc.
- Interpretation of electrical diagrams, diagnosis, and repair of electrical faults using conventional tools.
- Programming knowledge, experience in fault diagnosis, and experience in modifying PLC programs on the following platforms: Step7 classic and wincc flexible. Programming languages AWL, KOP, FUP, and to a lesser extent SCL. TIA Portal, Safety, StartDrive, winCC. Programming languages AWL, KOP, and SCL.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs. Studio 5000, Rs Logix, Factory TalkView.
- Beckhoff, twincat 2 (codesys).
- Basic handling and modification knowledge of Fanuc and Kuka robots.
- Basic knowledge of artificial vision (cognex).
- Knowledge in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Safety training, continuous improvement programs.
- Teamwork.
- High level of English.
