JOB SUMMARY

Working under close supervision, performs a variety of simple to routine assignments by following detailed work instructions that require limited judgment and decision-making to complete.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
2. Perform feeder maintenance, repair, and data tracking.
3. Train employees in operation and maintenance of machinery.
4. May train and coordinate activities of Maintenance Assistants (MA).
5. Assist in troubleshooting non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing.
6. Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, manuals, or sketches.
7. Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
8. Work overtime as required.
9. Follow all company security procedures.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge Requirements

• Ability to acquire job skills and learn company policies to complete routine tasks.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
• Use of basic and specialized hand tools and leveling instruments; knowledge of torque specifications.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Understanding of electronic color codes and component markings.
• Knowledge of safety practices.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email).
• Experience with maintenance tracking software.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Associate's degree in electronics with emphasis on servo positioning or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Maintenance Assistant (MA) may substitute educational requirements.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience, preferably in electro-mechanical equipment in manufacturing.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
