Odyssey Hotel Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician at Novotel Valencia Lavant to join our hotel team. You will monitor the condition and proper functioning of the facilities and equipment, ensuring they remain safe, operational and well maintained at all times.

You will carry out preventive, corrective and routine maintenance, identify and resolve technical issues, and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Formación

• Maintenance technician experience with preventive, corrective and routine maintenance.
• Ability to monitor facilities and equipment for safe operation.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

THE POSITION

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the condition and proper functioning of the hotel’s facilities and equipment, ensuring they remain safe, operational and well maintained at all times.

The position will involve carrying out preventive, corrective and routine maintenance, identifying and resolving technical issues, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel.

We are looking for someone responsible, proactive and hands-on, with a strong sense of organisation, attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards across the hotel.

ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT TASKS

• Check outstanding maintenance issues at the start of the shift and during shift handovers, prioritising their management and resolution.
• Check and monitor the condition of the hotel’s facilities and installations.
• Inspect the different technical rooms and record equipment readings, ensuring that all systems are operating within the appropriate parameters. This should be carried out at the start and end of each shift.
• Check emergency exits, restricted access to technical rooms and the condition of the CCTV system.
• Monitor and maintain the swimming pool.
• Carry out and record chlorine, pH and turbidity levels at the start of the shift and during shift handovers.
• Clean the swimming pool at the start of the shift.
• Check the availability of required liquids and chemicals and ensure the correct regulation and operation of the swimming pool.
• Manage and follow up on daily maintenance issues.
• Carry out preventive maintenance in guest rooms according to the monthly maintenance schedule.
