Overview
We are looking for brave, passionate, reliable people to join our company. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform maintenance duties at client site, lubricate machinery, change parts, or perform other routine machinery maintenance. You will also perform audits and PMs along with creating reports based on the findings of these duties.
Responsibilities
- Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
- Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and detect problems.
- Inspect or test damaged machine parts, mark defective areas, and advise supervisors of repair needs.
- Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines or machine parts according to specified procedures.
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments according to production specifications.
- Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
- Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
- Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
- Set up and operate machines, and adjust controls to regulate operations.
- Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
- Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and supplies to maintain stock levels.
- Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
- Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse to maintain machinery and work areas.
- Clean machines and machine parts using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.
- Provide training on the maintenance and operations of the equipment.
- Work with remote support teams to open tickets related to support and warranty.
- Travel to the US and EU for trainings and meetings as required.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in machinery or related fields.
- Educational background: Completion of a post-secondary program in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and CMMS.
- Good understanding of logistics processes.
- Mechanical/conveyor knowledge.
- Possess a valid passport with the ability to travel internationally.

- A keen attention to detail and the ability to solve mechanical problems.
- Keep an organized daily log of all machine maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with other technicians to solve complex mechanical issues.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment with high noise levels, elevated temperatures, and humidity.
Communication
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly report on work completed and collaborate effectively with a team.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift/carry up to 51 lbs. and work a flexible rotating schedule that may include nights and weekends. Comfortable with heights (ladders, high mezzanines). The position requires duties in a high-temperature warehouse setting, specifically on the second-floor mezzanine where air conditioning is not available. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including eye/face protection and respirator.
