Job Duties

Under direct supervision, gains knowledge of routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs of a variety of Halliburton equipment. Thereafter, assists maintenance mechanic technicians in performing more complex repairs prior to being broken out as a stand-alone Technician I. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of errors are easily measured and can be confined.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience.
• A technician's diploma in Heavy Equipment or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Experience and knowledge with repairing engines, transmissions, trucks, trailers, cranes, compressors, and forklifts is desirable.
