Could you be the full-time Maintenance Project Engineer Lead (Co-Ordinator) in Madrid we’re looking for?
Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your signaling services experience in a cutting-edge field. Work alongside young and proactive teammates. You’ll coordinate and manage the execution of works in services and maintenance projects, ensuring contractual obligations and quality standards are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the customer to maintain high standards of maintenance services.

Responsibilities include managing reporting processes related to incidents/events, coordinating teams, supporting the customer technically during incidents involving onboard and trackside equipment, and applying expert project knowledge.

You’ll manage on-site teams during maintenance activities, support project execution, including design, installation, and testing & commissioning, and develop contractual maintenance documentation.

Additional duties involve diagnosing faults, analyzing technical problems with various technologies and suppliers, supporting customer monitoring systems, controlling software versions, proposing improvements for customer satisfaction, ensuring quality system compliance, managing obsolescence with suppliers, planning preventive maintenance, and generating troubleshooting documents.

Report project status to management, control and report financial aspects, and support management and commercial teams on customer-related matters.

  • Experience in technical project management
  • Proficiency with Windows, MSOffice, MSProject, AUTOCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, Catia V5
  • Team leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of the railway business and maintenance systems (valued)
  • Experience with industrial equipment and complex international projects (valued)
  • Availability to work at various Madrid project centers and occasional travel; a valid B driving license is essential
