Formación

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to use relevant software including Microsoft Office and SAP
• Articulate and able to develop effective relationships

Working as part of a highly skilled and established engineering team, you’ll maximize plant reliability and performance to ensure our high standards of quality are achieved and to meet customers’ expectations. Coordinating the preventive maintenance system, you’ll ensure overall equipment efficiency, reducing downtime and damage.

• Previous experience in a similar role
• IT knowledge – able to use widespread functions within relevant software including Microsoft Office and SAP
• Analyzing and problem-solving skills – anticipates problems before they occur, takes steps to deal with them, correctly and swiftly identifies the underlying problem and appropriate solutions based on data analysis
• H&S knowledge e.g., IOSH – able to ensure a safe working environment
• Communication skills – articulate and able to develop effective, long-term relationships with key people

The Recipe

As our Engineering Planner, you’ll ensure the delivery of effective maintenance support to the site. You’ll work collaboratively with Reliability Managers and Engineering site leads to plan and schedule all maintenance activities, including backlog, spares, and materials. Additionally, you’ll support plant criticality reviews, review maintenance plans, establish critical spares, and be the key user for the site SAP PM maintenance system and reporting.

You’ll ensure stock availability for planned maintenance and that contractors work safely in line with risk assessments.

The Role

• Planning and scheduling of a risk-based maintenance strategy
• Ensure data integrity within the CMMS system (SAP)
• Materials for work orders are anticipated and available for scheduled works
• Evaluate the effectiveness of planned maintenance tasks based on KPIs
• Maintain service contracts and external supplier relationships, reviewing supplier effectiveness
