Formación

We are looking for a new team member to join as Maintenance Engineer to Tetra Pak Iberia (Northern Regions). In this position, you will mainly work in the following areas: Asturias, Cantabria, Pais Vasco. The role also involves responsibilities across Spain, Portugal, and occasionally Angola and Cape Verde.
Your main responsibility will be delivering high-quality technical services and supporting our customers by resolving issues effectively and satisfactorily. This role offers a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and gain experience in mechanics, electronics, and automation by performing services on our clients’ sites. It is ideal if you are at the beginning of your career and eager to grow within a market-leading company. You will also have numerous opportunities to visit and engage with major customers of Tetra Pak Iberia.
This role requires extensive travel, more than 90% of the time.
This is a permanent position with one vacancy available.

What you will do
  • Install and commission packaging equipment at customer sites
  • Perform PLC and HMI programming
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve faults onsite and remotely
  • Supervise production and train operators at customer sites
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships, supporting and following up on concerns and issues
We believe you have
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in electronic or electro-mechanical engineering
  • 1-2 years’ experience in electro-mechanical & pneumatic industrial maintenance
  • 1-2 years’ experience with PLC, electrical, and electronic systems
  • Programming skills in Siemens S7-300 / TIA portal
  • Knowledge of Rockwell and/or Beckhoff automation software
  • Ability to repair machines onsite
  • Willingness to travel extensively (more than 90%)
  • Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English (reporting and communication skills)
  • Portuguese language skills are a plus
  • Valid driving license
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Office
  • Understanding of customer satisfaction and business objectives
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Customer-oriented and results-driven attitude
