Formación

Job Summary

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join Tetra Pak Iberia (Burgos). In this position, you will mainly work in the following areas: Burgos, Castilla-Len, Madrid, La Rioja, Navarra, and for the rest of Spain and Portugal. Occasionally, you may also work in Angola and Cape Verde.

Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality technical services and supporting our customers to ensure issues are resolved effectively and satisfactorily. This role offers an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and gain experience in mechanics, electronics, and automation by servicing our clients' sites. It's ideal for someone in the early stages of their career eager to grow within a market-leading company. You will have ample opportunities to visit and build relationships with major customers of Tetra Pak Iberia.

This position requires extensive travel, more than 90% of the time.

This is a permanent role with one vacancy. Please note that career migration is not supported for this position.

What You Will Do

  • Install and commission processing equipment at customer sites
  • Perform PLC and HMI programming
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site and via phone
  • Supervise production and train operators at customer sites
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, including support and follow-up on concerns and problems

We Believe You Have

  • Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in electronic or electro-mechanical engineering
  • 1-2 years of experience in electro-mechanical and pneumatic industrial maintenance
  • 1-2 years of experience with PLC electrical and electronic systems
  • Programming skills on Siemens S7-300 / TIA portal
  • Knowledge of Rockwell and/or Beckhoff automation software is an advantage
  • Ability to repair machines on-site
  • Willingness to travel extensively (more than 90%)
  • Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English (writing/reporting skills are essential)
  • Portuguese language skills are a plus
  • Valid driving license
  • Good computer skills, with strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Understanding of customer satisfaction and business vision
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-oriented and results-driven attitude
