• Solid experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2 in IBM Z Mainframe environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices: CI/CD, Git branching, automation.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 or higher) and Spanish.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Developer with expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and modern DevOps practices. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in complex environments, enjoy solving technical challenges, and are eager to contribute to the modernization of critical systems. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, CICS, and DB2
2. Analyze business requirements and deliver robust technical solutions
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and performance
4. Support production environments and resolve incidents efficiently
5. Participate in DevOps and modernization initiatives

Desired Requirements

• Solid experience in IBM Z Mainframe environments: COBOL, JCL, REXX, DB2
• Familiarity with tools such as DBB, ZUnit, Changeman, (NTH)
• Knowledge of Endevor, ZD&T, and z / OS
• Experience with DevOps practices in mainframe: CI / CD cycles, Git, branching models, automation
• Proficiency with open systems DevOps tools: Jenkins, GitHub, pipeline creation and maintenance
• Understanding of Cloud engineering: Docker, Kubernetes
• English level: B2 or higher
