Job summary

Swiss Re in Madrid seeks a Senior Workplace Engineer to co-lead strategy and delivery of intelligent Digital Workplace capabilities, focused on Microsoft 365 Real Time Communications, collaboration, and Workplace AI assistants.

You will drive platform modernization, automation, and governance while ensuring security and regulatory compliance across a global workforce, with a hybrid office model requiring in-person presence several days per week.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 digital workplace platform with focus on Real Time Communication and Collaboration.
• Advanced automation and scripting capabilities including DevOps technologies and CI/CD.
• Good working knowledge of data analytics and visualization with Power Platform and Palantir Foundry.
• Good working knowledge of Azure Cloud, Networking, IAM, provisioning and authentication concepts.
• Hands-on knowledge with Enterprise AI platforms such as Copilot or ChatGPT Enterprise.
• Fluent English with strong communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of Workplace and Microsoft 365 RTC capabilities, including security and governance controls.
• Provide technical expertise in processes, user journeys, and services in Real Time Communications and Collaboration.
• Deliver transformational initiatives such as platform modernisation and migrations with measurable business value.
• Monitor developments in Digital Workplace space and maintain vendor and stakeholder engagement.
• Hands-on implementation with Microsoft 365, Azure workloads, and scripting platforms.
• Utilize MS Power Platform and Palantir Foundry to drive data-informed decisions and visualisations.
• Upskill teams, improve controls, and share knowledge across the organisation.
