Hitachi Energy in Madrid is seeking a Project Lead Engineer (f/m/d) to take on overall technical responsibility in HVDC projects and tenders, coordinating global project teams.

You will act as the primary technical liaison for customers, drive engineering activities, ensure safety standards, and support testing, installation and commissioning. Academic degree in Engineering and at least 5 years in a lead role are expected.

Formación

• Academic degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering or similar).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar lead role.
• Experience with HVDC technology is a plus.
• Power industry experience is a must.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers.
• Lead engineering development with multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate global project teams and tenders.
• Drive the completion of engineering activities on projects.
• Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning.
• Prepare project documents within budget, scope, and contract.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigate risks.
• Maintain technical quality in contracts, documents, and deliveries.
