Job summary

JC Brand Esp Market SL, part of the Peek & Cloppenburg group, seeks a senior buyer to shape seasonal strategies for Men''s and Women''s categories in Madrid. You will build compelling assortments, negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate with design and merchandising to align trends with business goals.

Based in our Madrid design hub, you will drive vendor partnerships, optimize product lifecycles, and respond quickly to market opportunities while maintaining brand identity.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Business, Fashion Merchandising or related field.
• 4–6 years buying experience in fast-paced, trend-driven retail.
• Strong commercial mindset with fashion and trend acumen.
• Agile, proactive, and able to negotiate with suppliers across multiple categories.

Responsibilities

• Shape Our Buying Strategy: develop and implement seasonal buying strategies across Men''s and Women''s categories.
• Create Inspiring Assortments: build compelling assortments reflecting trends and market opportunities while balancing margins.
• React to Trends & Market Opportunities: translate insights into actionable buying decisions.
• Collaborate Across Teams: work with Design, Merchandising, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities.
• Drive Vendor Success: lead supplier negotiations and build strategic partnerships.
• Optimize Performance: monitor sales, lifecycle, inventory, and adjust assortment accordingly.
