An established industry player is seeking a Machinery Safety Engineer to lead risk assessments and implement safety measures for industrial machinery. This role involves collaborating with regional teams to enhance machine safety processes and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset. As Machinery Safety Engineer, you will report directly to the HUB HSE Manager (Europe) and act as a technical lead and subject matter expert in machine risk assessment , functional safety for machinery , and machine safeguarding according to industry consensus (regional / local) and internal business standards .
We seek a professional with a holistic view who understands the complexities of change processes and project management.
You will collaborate closely with regional and factory operations teams, playing an active role in decision-making to advise and support the implementation of safety-critical controls for industrial machinery capital projects and upgrades.
You will lead efforts in identifying and sharing transferrable best practices, evaluating, and developing local machine safety competencies.
