LABS Corporate Finance seeks a Vice President to join its Madrid team, playing a pivotal role in expanding LABS’ activities in Spain. The role is full-time and office-based in Madrid, working with founding partners and collaborating with Milan, with exposure to clients, entrepreneurs and senior decision-makers on complex M&A transactions.

• 5-6+ years of relevant M&A Advisory or Investment Banking experience
• Proven experience managing end-to-end M&A processes including private equity transactions
• Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate internal teams and external counterparties
• Excellent knowledge of accounting, valuation methodologies and financial modelling
• Strong analytical and communication skills, client-facing senior stakeholders experience

The roleLABS Corporate Finance is looking for a Vice President to join its growing Madrid team and play a key role in the continued development of LABS’ activities in Spain.The role is full-time and office-based in Madrid and will involve working directly alongside one of LABS’ founding partners, while collaborating closely with the broader team in Milan, with direct exposure to clients, entrepreneurs, private equity funds and senior decision-makers, significant responsibility in the execution of M&A transactions and a unique opportunity to progress rapidly within the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute M&A transactions throughout the entire process, from initial analysis and preparation of marketing materials to due diligence, negotiations and closing;
• Take an active role inorigination and business development activities, identifying potential clients, investors and transaction opportunities;
• Build enduring and long‑term relationships with private equity professionals as well as advisors, consultants and other relevant stakeholders across the Spanish M&A ecosystem;
• Coordinate project teams and junior resources, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of all transaction materials;
• Work closely with senior bankers and provide clear and effective reporting on transaction progress and key issues;
• Develop financial analyses, business plans, valuation exercises and transaction models, applying the appropriate methodologies autonomously;
• Identify and assess alternative transaction structures, with the objective of maximizing value for clients while anticipating and mitigating potential execution risks;
• Coordinate and interact effectively with multiple stakeholders, including clients, investors, legal and financial advisors and other counterparties;
• Prepare high‑quality presentations, information memoranda and other transaction‑related materials;
• Support senior professionals in business development and origination activities, including the identification of potential clients, investors and transaction opportunities;
• Contribute to the further development of LABS Corporate Finance’s presence and relationships in the Spanish market.

Candidate profile

• At least 5-6 years of relevant experience in M&A Advisory or Investment Banking, gained at a leading financial institution, investment bank or advisory boutique;
• Proven experience in the management and execution of end‑to‑end M&A processes, including transactions involving leading private equity funds;
• Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate both internal teams and external counterparties;
• Excellent knowledge ofaccounting, valuation methodologies and financial modelling, with the ability to apply these skills autonomously;
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and synthesis capabilities, combined with high attention to detail;
• Consolidated communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to interact directly with clients and senior stakeholders;
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and execution;
• A university degree inEconomics, Finance, Business Administration, Management Engineering or another quantitative/technical discipline, supported by a strong academic record;
• Native‑level Spanish;
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English (C1 level or equivalent);
• Italian language skills could be considered a plus;
• A proactive, entrepreneurial and execution‑oriented mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability;
• Flexibility and availability to travel when required.
