Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an experienced M&A Integration and Carve-Out Practitioner based in Spain. The role focuses on technology due diligence, validating transaction assumptions, and building realistic Day 1 plans to maximize post-transaction value.

You will work with investment teams, operating partners, and senior technology executives in fast-paced transactions, spanning pre-close diligence, sign-to-close planning, and post-close execution. Remote work and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience leading technology integrations, separations, or carve-outs.
• Broad knowledge of applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and IT service management.
• Ability to translate complex tech findings into investment and execution decisions.
• Experience as CIO/CTO or senior technology leader is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology due diligence with deal teams and leadership.
• Evaluate environments including applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and data.
• Identify risks, cost drivers, and value in Day 1 readiness and value creation.
• Assess feasibility and financial implications of integration or separation plans.
• Define Day 1 readiness requirements and governance frameworks.
• Provide interim technology leadership when needed.
