Descripción del empleo

Senior Underwriter M&A Tax – based in Madrid, Spain or Milan, Italy

1. Independent underwriting review of tax insurance submissions.
2. Develop deep client and broker relationships to drive regional growth in the product.
3. Position and market AIG tax products in the European market through presentations, articles, and events.
4. Work closely with the global tax insurance team to ensure consistency of appetite and underwriting.
5. Provide ad hoc support for W&I underwriters on tax aspects of W&I coverage as required.
6. Hold an excellent university degree in law or economics with a focus on tax law.
7. Have several years of professional experience in an international commercial law firm or Big 4 accounting firm.
8. Be qualified as a tax consultant or specialized in tax law.
9. Possess technical expertise on tax issues and M&A transactions.
10. Be capable of independent legal and commercial negotiation of policies in conjunction with legal advisors and internal stakeholders.
11. Have very good MS-Office knowledge.
12. Be willing to travel and market AIG tax insurance products.
13. Have excellent communication skills in English and either Spanish or Italian.
