METT Barcelona, a luxurious 5-star hotel, seeks a Reservations Trainee to assist with hotel reservations and guest inquiries. This integral role supports various departments and requires strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.

The ideal candidate is a university student studying Hospitality, Tourism, or Business, eager to learn and gain career-building experience in a dynamic environment. The position offers a paid internship along with meals during working shifts.

Formación

• Current university or school student related to Hospitality, Tourism, or Business.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Friendly, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Available for a 6-month full-time internship.
• Able to sign a collaboration agreement with your school.
• Legally authorized to work in Spain or enrolled in a university approved for internships within the EU.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in managing hotel reservations via phone, email, and online channels.
• Support in handling guest inquiries, providing accurate information about rooms, rates, and services.
• Learn how to use reservation systems and booking platforms.
• Help ensure all bookings are correctly entered and updated in the system.
• Assist in coordinating with Front Office and other departments to ensure smooth guest arrivals.
• Learn to manage cancellations, modifications, and special requests.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional communication style.
• Observe and apply hotel standards and procedures in all interactions.
