Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking an Interior Design Manager in Madrid to lead luxury hotel design across projects, coordinating with architects, studios and procurement teams to ensure premium brand alignment and execution.

You will manage documentation, mood boards, FF&E selections and design presentations, while guiding external partners in an international environment. Fluency in English and Spanish is valued, with strong AutoCAD/Revit skills and rendering knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related design discipline.
• Advanced English level required; Spanish and/or other languages will be positively considered.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of rendering tools will be an asset.
• Strong ability to prepare clear visual presentations, technical design packages and FF&E documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the interior design development of luxury hotel projects, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, guest experience, operational requirements and investment objectives.
• Manage the preparation, review and coordination of design documentation, including mood boards, material palettes, FF&E selections, layouts, room concepts and design presentations.
• Coordinate architects, interior design studios, procurement teams, technical departments and external consultants to ensure design quality and timely delivery.
• Review layouts, design proposals and technical packages, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement in function, circulation and luxury standards.
• Contribute to brand design guidelines, technical standards and product references for guestrooms, public areas and F&B spaces.
• Lead supplier, material and FF&E reviews, supporting finishes and furniture selection for upscale environments.
• Participate in site visits, mock-up reviews and project meetings, ensuring design intent is preserved.
