Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking a motivated Banqueting Trainee (Internship) to gain hands-on experience in the administrative and operational facets of a luxury hotel’s banqueting department. You will assist with event coordination, documentation, and service operations, collaborating with multiple hotel departments to deliver exceptional event experiences.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a university degree program (Hospitality/related).
• Available to complete a 6-month internship.
• Passion for hospitality operations and event management.
• High level of Spanish (written and spoken).
• English proficiency valued; additional languages are a plus.
• Able to sign an university internship agreement.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with daily administrative and operational tasks in Banqueting.
• Support event documentation, service plans, and schedules.
• Help coordinate event logistics and internal communications.
• Assist with inventory records, supplier communications, and purchasing administration.
• Participate in data analysis and reporting for operational decisions.
• Facilitate cross-department communication for events.
• Support scheduling, documentation control, and planning for events.
• Assist during service periods for banquets, meetings, and conferences.
• Maintain filing systems and departmental records.
• Support special projects related to Banqueting operations.
