Formación

Summary / Role Purpose

The Senior R&D Engineer will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of web-based applications leveraging Ansys Structures technology. The role requires advanced technical skills to address complex issues, meet customer requirements, and achieve development goals. Collaboration is key to expose backend services in user-friendly applications following best practices for security and robustness.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Participate in planning, architecture, and research activities.
2. Conduct complex development tasks, including user experience, software design, and solver research.
3. Maintain best practices through reviews and mentoring.
4. Verify bugs, perform release testing, and support beta releases.
5. Research and resolve problems identified by QA or support teams.
6. Understand marketing requirements, including environment, performance, and competitive landscape.
7. Work independently, possibly mentoring others and managing interns or co-ops.

Minimum Education/Experience

MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3 years' experience, or PhD with 1 year. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, client-server architecture, Web APIs (REST, gRPC, WebSocket), and software development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills, good communication, and ability to work in a distributed team are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with web frameworks (Angular, React).
• Handling large data sets for visualization.
• Designing Web APIs and using DevOps tools.
• Deploying and maintaining customer-facing web applications.
